Dr. Laura Vander Poel has been practicing in Connecticut since 2012. She graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and then went for her doctorate at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Vander Poel completed a three year residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. During her tenure she was the Co-Chief resident and authored several research projects on bunion surgery and fixation techniques in podiatric surgery. Since then she has gone on for further training in Advanced Wound Care including hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Vander Poel also is actively involved in the training of the Podiatric Surgical Residents at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford.
Dr. Vander Poel sees all types of medical and surgical patients in both South Windsor and Enfield.
