About

Dr. Ron Margolis graduated with honors from Cornell University and received his M.D. from Cornell University Medical School in New York City. He completed his ophthalmology training at the Cleveland Clinic where he was chief resident, and his vitreoretinal fellowship at Columbia University. Dr. Margolis is a retina specialist at Retina Consultants with offices in Farmington, Hartford, Manchester, Enfield and Cromwell. He is the Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Hartford Hospital, and is a department member at St. Francis Hospital and Manchester Hospital.

Dr. Margolis treats all medical and surgical retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole and pucker, and retinal detachment. He is board certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
